This Catholic school does

any aspect of school policy and believes in the essential equality of all
persons as rooted in God’s love. In signing the school contract, parents
pledge to commit themselves to accompany their family to the weekly worship
of God and to encourage participation in religious education and sacramental
preparation. All children are required to pass religion classes and to
respectfully participate in school Masses, prayer services, and daily prayer
time.
CHRISTIAN MISSION STATEMENT
Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School is a Catholic parochial school
whose aims are to teach children Christian moral values and to present an
excellent academic education. As dedicated Catholics, we proclaim Jesus
Christ and His Church as our focus in educating the whole child in a
spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual way. This can be
accomplished through a spirit of mutual cooperation among teachers,
students, parents, and administrators.
CHRISTIAN ATMOSPHERE
It is presumed that parents who send children to this school will uphold
our philosophy and not teach children anything to the contrary by word or
example. It is also expected that full cooperation and support be given to
each teacher by both parent and student. A child cannot learn if parents say
one thing and teachers something else. To enhance our Christian atmosphere,
children are not permitted to fight, play fight, or hit back in, before, or
after school. Children are always encouraged to report the possibility of
such disturbances beforehand. We emphasize the rewards of telling the truth
in all circumstances. Sexual harassment of any kind is not tolerated at
Saints Peter and Paul School.
